FAQs

  • Do your board dogs at your home?

Unfortunately, no. Our dog loves his personal space and will not share! :) However, I do offer overnight sitting at your home!

  • My dog is great off-leash and prefers it on walks/runs, are you okay with that?

For liability reasons, I will only walk/run dogs on-leash. For drop-in visits, I will only let your dog off-leash outside if your yard is fully fenced in.

  • Do you offer group walks?

I do not offer group walks. Your dog will receive individual time with me and will not be exposed to unknown dogs. If you have more than one dog, I will of course walk them together.

  • I live outside of the Glenwood Springs-Rifle area but I need a dog sitter! Will you expand your service area?

Please feel free to reach out and see if I can help! If I am available, I am happy to be flexible.

  • What are your hours of operation?

Right now, you can schedule services any time between 6 a.m.-9 p.m. If the window block you are looking for does not pop up in Time to Pet, it is because I blocked it off for personal reasons. Feel free to reach out and double check my availability!

  • I have a high maintenance dog, "aggressive breed" dog, or dog with behavioral issues. Are you comfortable working with these kinds of dogs?

YES! As the owner of an “aggressive breed” dog (I like to call him a “misunderstood” dog), I know what it feels to not trust others with the care of your dog. Believe me when I say I want to help! You deserve to be worry free while you are away and trust that your dog is in good hands! I honestly prefer dogs that are big and scary! :)

  • Do you accept cash?

At this time, I only accept payment through the Time To Pet portal (credit/debit card).

  • Will you stay with my pet 24/7 while pet sitting?

I have regular clients each day and a pup at home, so I will not be able to stay with your pet 24/7. I work best with clients who have pets that can go 4-6 hours alone at a time. However, if I have the availability, I am willing to make exceptions.
